  • Flatwork tuition on your own horse is available from Debbie Bridges - competition rider and trainer with over 30 years' experience, based in Central Scotland.

National Elementary Restricted Champion at the 2006 National Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh, Debbie has chosen to base her competition and teaching yard in the central belt of Scotland - providing easy access to transport links for all the major venues in this region.

With 30 years of competition experience behind her - from representing her country as part of an International Pony Club team which travelled to Canada, to the superbly successful conclusion at the National Dressage Championships with her own horse, Rechercheur, Debbie offers significant experience to all her clients. Debbie trains with Spencer Wilton.

Debbie's approach may be summarised as:

'A bespoke, tailored approach to the correct preparation of horse and rider for a happy, harmonious and successful partnership.'

Her results speak for themselves, with numerous wins at regional level, culminating with a highly successful trip to the National Dressage Championships at Stoneleigh in 2006 - where her two horses both scored highly - including winning an incredible first place at her first attempt.

Background
At home, surrounded by her horses, Debbie has built an impressive reputation within the Scottish equestrian scene - for hard work, dedicated and selfless support of others and - above all - for being a talented rider.  Her early showjumping career saw numerous successes and although she now follows a dressage path, the experience gained in prior years allows her to work with riders from all disciplines.

"I can't believe the difference in my horse - he came to Debbie as a youngster, not knowing how many legs he had - or where he'd left them - and now he's competing regularly at local competitions.  A great start for a young horse!" ....  a comment from just one happy client.
